Aargh!

I've been grading popular culture papers, almost non-stop, since Thursday evening. If I have to read one more critique of the Simpsons or Friends, I think I'll hurl. Come on, people! Of all the popular culture artifacts out there, you can only focus on two?! Seriously, I bet I've read 20 papers on these two shows. Next semester, I'm stressing the importance of originality in writing.

I just glanced through the remaining papers on the "To Grade" pile--there's yet another critique of The Simpsons . . . and Friends ::sobs::

Any on Animaniacs?

Of course not. That would be FAR too entertaining a read for the instructor.

How about Star Wars, Star Trek (any flavor), Stargate SG1, or even the X-Files? Or maybe Teen Titans or Justice League? Or M*A*S*H?

Oh, wait, only geeks watch shows like those....
