Play Me Some Cockamamie

Yesterday, I was struck with a strong urge to revisit one of the artists who introduced me to indie rock. Back in 1995, I discovered Jennifer Trynin. Her eclectic style sent me scurrying about the internet, searching for "unknown" artists. Nine years later, I'm still digging female-fronted indie rock, punk, power-pop, death disco, and nu new wave.

Imagine my suprise when I noticed a piece regarding Ms. Trynin as I went through my usual morning coffee/news/blog routine. Too bad she's not fronting Loveless. Without her singing lead, the album holds little interest for me.
