Insanity

Do people really believe Rush Limbaugh is some kind of genuine political commentator or analyst? Personally, I can't stand to listen to the guy for more than 10 minutes. His use of fallacious reasoning boggles the mind. The sad thing is that millions of uninformed people soak up Limbaugh's ridiculous statements and then spout those same lame argument to family, friends, and co-workders. Unfortunately, I happened to catch some of Rush's comments on the Iraqi prisoner abuse schandal. I nearly broke my hand banging my fist against the steering wheel. Here's an example of what Limbaugh had to say about the recent abuse of Iraqi prisoners:

LIMBAUGH: Exactly. Exactly my point! This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation and we're going to ruin people's lives over it and we're going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being fired at every day. I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You of heard of need to blow some steam off?

Are you fucking kidding me? A fraternity intitiation? He's comparing the abuse of prisoners to a fraternity initiation? Arrrgggggghhhhhhhhh!
