Huh?

Since informing a student that I would not have the time to read through another copy of a manuscript for at least week--other papers/assignments/conventions are in the queue--I've received nearly a dozen emails asking me to read a manuscript. No joke. The requests are written as if I'd never said a single word. I've spent more time with this single student than any other student. Ever. Time for others' work, including my own, to take precedence.
