Yet another article concerning the Bush administration's deft use of visual images.

The article poses some interesting questions. First, why wasn't there a larger outcry after the May 12 bombings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia? Second, why is the U.S. public allowing itself to be misled by visual images? Why aren't we asking questions about the policies being endorsed? Third, why aren't we seeing more images of a post-war Iraq? Why aren't we receiving the same intense coverage we received during the war? Could it be that the situation isn't quite what the Bush administration had hoped for?
